BAU 2025: EFAFLEX presents innovative door study – company draws positive conclusions
High-speed door manufacturer EFAFLEX presented the next generation of high-speed doors and a new door study made of organic material at BAU 2025. Overall, the company is very satisfied with its appearance at the world’s leading trade fair.
For five days, thousands of visitors at the BAU 2025 trade fair in Munich were inspired by the door solutions from the world market leader for high-speed industrial doors. The four ‘Next Generation’ spiral doors were on show in action for the first time and the numerous visitors to the 280 square metre stand were able to see the benefits of these door innovations for themselves.
Christian Jacob, responsible for the trade fair at EFAFLEX, draws a positive conclusion: ‘It was five days with many great discussions and a noticeable enthusiasm for our products.’
Door study made of felt and wood points the way to the future
In addition to the ‘Next Generation’ doors, EFAFLEX also exhibited the fastest car park door in the world, EFA-SST® PS, as well as the EFA-SRT® Organic door study.
This door concept aroused the interest of numerous visitors, as it demonstrates the potential for even more sustainable door construction. The door frame is made entirely of wood, while the curtain is made of felt.
In addition to its innovative material and an opening speed of two metres per second, the study also scores points for its quiet running. Possible areas of application include supermarkets and hotels. However, numerous other applications are also conceivable and are now being analysed for their feasibility.
‘Numerous international contacts’
BAU 2025 also offered the opportunity to exchange contacts with customers, partners and interested parties. ‘We were able to make and maintain numerous international contacts at this world-leading trade fair,’ explains Marketing Director Jacob.
180,000 visitors and 2,230 exhibitors from 58 countries make the BAU trade fair the international flagship and driving force for the construction industry. EFAFLEX makes an important contribution to this with its industrial high-speed doors.
